Phia and I are hoping to arrange a real Maternity photo shoot with her Aunt Stephanie, who is one of the most amazing photographers I’ve ever seen. If you’ve ever seen the Engagement shots she did for us, you know what I mean. In the mean time, fears of an early baby prompted us to give it a try on our own. View Full Article »

Some of you know that I am housing my father’s almighty Ford F-150 Lightning in my garage. Or as I like to refer to it, my inheritance. I actually feel that it’s really fair to call it co-ownership since what’s my dad’s is mine and .. how does the rest of that saying go? Well anyway it’s in my garage and I get to drive it so it feels like mine! If you don’t know, The Ford SVT Lightning is a sports/performance version of the F-150 Pickup truck designed by Fords tuner division (SVT). View Full Article »
Phia and I had a great time this weekend at JenZ and Ryan’s wedding. We rolled up to Whittier on Friday to to Jenz’s father’s house which is stunning. What an amazing property, with a huge backyard. View Full Article »
For my birthday Phia got us annual passes to Sea World! She knows that I grew up going to Sea World and that I have a real attachment to going. It was wonderful of her to get me such a great gift and I look forward to watching Bella grow up with Shamu like I did. We went recently to get re acquainted with the park, View Full Article »
This is just a head’s up to the non-psycho Pearl Jam fan’s out there. Pearl Jam’s next album, Backspacer is set to be released on 9/20/09 in case you’re interested. They are also touring to support the album, but most of the local shows have gone on sale already. If you can, I suggest you do go. They put on a hell of a show and they play a nice mix of songs that is sure to please even the casual fans.
I’m really looking forward to seeing them at Gibson Amphitheater, that’s a hell of a venue!
Here’s the single “The Fixer” that’s getting some radio play, check it out, you’ll probably enjoy it!
Phia’s prego tummy has been growing every month as our little girl gets big and strong. We’re almost there now! Only about a month or so to go. Oct 18 due date! We both can’t believe that it’s almost time to welcome our daughter into the world. As you’ve seen, the Nursery is set up, the shower was a success, the house is fixed and ready… and so are we! I snapped a couple of “artistic” shots of Isabella’s room, it’s totally set up and ready for her to get here. I should mention that is in complete thanks to Phia’s hard work. It was totally her project and it’s come out amazingly. I can’t think of a better place for a little girl to enter into the world in. It’s soothing and safe and all the things you would think a nursery should be. View Full Article »
Lets face it, Baby Showers are technically for the parents, but really it’s for the Mommy. Jen and Carol (my mom) went all out for Phia, what a beautiful job! I know that Phia really appreciated all the effort that everyone went through, not only putting together the amazing party, but also coming out from Orange County on a holiday weekend and of course all the gifts. The house was finally put together enough to share with our friends and family. the “remodel” felt like it took forever, but realistically it only took a few months. In the grand scheme of things that’s not bad. It was really exciting to be able to entertain for the first time and it was just wonderful! Entertaining has always been something we have wanted to do, but our places, while comfortable for us, have been too small to really have parties. Thanks to everyone who came out and spent some time with us, and for all the amazing house warming gifts you brought. We’ve found perfect spots for all the plants and decorations, they really helped to make our house a home! View Full Article »
