Hello everyone!
Well we haven’t had an update since our big announce, so I thought I’d write up a little something to keep everyone in the loop.
Happy Belated Cinco De Mayo!! As you know our baby is a 1/4 Mexican, so you can imagine yesterday was a big day for him or her. Phia was certain she could feel little maracas shaking in her tummy and a faintest, “ay ay ay!” coming from her navel. To celebrate the day, I slammed 10 Tecates in Phia’s face while she stared wantonly at tequila bottle for two hours, her mouth agape, wishing only for a slightest taste of it’s sweet sweet agave nectar… but she doesn’t miss being able to drink at all.
So anyway, here’s the news you can use, Phia is about 16 weeks along, she’s about 4 weeks shy of being Half Way! Can you believe that? Time is flying so far! She showing a little more, but it’s not too noticeable. We’re really looking forward to finding out the sex, but I don’t think that’s going to happen until the beginning of next month. We’re both doing very well, Phia is particular is feeling loads better then she was before. She’s finally getting past the “morning sickness”, more like “all the time sickness” for which we are both very thankful.
Oh something really cool I wanted to share with you guys, I found some incredible software online that utilizes an advanced algorithm to predict what your off spring will look like. It’s all very complicated but in a nut shell you upload an extensive questionnaire giving genetic history, racial data, physical features and genetic makeup. then you also upload about 20 images of each of the parents thorough our own development, baby, toddler, child, teen, adult etc… what it does is crunches all this data, and using facial recognition on your photos develops a surprisingly accurate image of your offspring (boy or girl!). Amazing! You can even view them at different stages of their lives, baby, child, teen, or adult. The baby pictures were cute of course, but I was most taken with the adult rendering. take a look at see what YOU think? I think it’s pretty damn accurate.
