this is too cool, a friend of mine, Paul sent this to me today. Thanks Paul!, it’s basically an interactive image of the Inauguration that you can zoom and or pan. That’s pretty awesome in itself and by zooming and panning you should be able see some pretty famous people in the crowd. I began to wonder, would I be able to find my friend Kevin? After all he had a great seat so I knew he was in there somewhere. Sure enough after about 30 seconds of zooming I was able to find him. Isn’t technology amazing?

For those of you that know Kevin, see if you can find him too, I’ll give you a hint as to where he is. He’s seated behind the podium where the President spoke on the upper level, so on the left hand side of your screen. Here’s a screen shot of him to help you out.
If you zoom in really close you can see a sole tear solemnly sliding down Kevin’s face. Oh he wasn’t moved by the speech or the gravitas of the moment, no, he was just really really sad to see President Bush leave office.
You sure he didn’t Photoshop himself in there? Heh, just kidding. That is pretty outstanding. Looking very solemn, Kevin. I was bragging to people at work that my friend from kindergarden was in the balcony behind the podium. Then a customer took the wind out of my sails when she too said she was there and at one of the balls. Kev was way closer tho

Dude, Eric if you ever see that chick again you can tell her that your friend from Kindergarten was also at The Southern States Ball. You see, she is not the only one familiar with the President’s Balls.
