Hi Everyone,
I hope all is well, and I wanted to start by saying Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! You’re support and generosity has been amazing, and I couldn’t have been able to do this without your support!!
Well, Bryan and I are off to San Francisco tomorrow morning. We’ll be flying out of San Diego and landing in Oakland around 10:15 am. From there, we’ll be running around with the group (no pun intended), getting situated in our hotel, and out to the Nike Expotique, where they have our race bibs, goodies, and lots of pampering for all of us runaholics (messages and pedicures, oh my!). That evening will be doing something low-pro to conserve all the energy that will be spent on Sunday. On Saturday, we’ll be doing more exploring around town and touring their museums. On Sunday, we’ll be waking up at 4:30am to get ready for the Big Race!! It starts at 7:00am.

The course will be filled with Oxygen bars, Luna Bar stations, Jamba Juice stations, pedicure stations (for a sock change), “coat checks”, 19 live DJ’s and bands, and finishing it off with a dapper young gentleman serving me my Tiffany’s finisher necklace (no metals, we’re dainty girls) on a Silver Tray!!! Don’t feel too bad for me, it’ll be worth the 5 hours of running!! lol
My Wonderful husband will be waiting for me, too (most exciting part!), with a big smile and a smooch (salty kisses are so romantic). Also, he will be the photographer extraordinare, so don’t worry, you’ll get all 837,298,027 photos once our plan lands back in San Diego!! Bryan has been the MOST amazing support system for me through this entire process. He’s helped me fund raise, train, and cheer me on at every event!
