So on my actual BirthDAY this year, I wanted to stay low key and local. I asked Phia if we could just stay around Carlsbad, have some drinks, maybe play some shuffleboard at one of the local bars and listen to some live music at the Coyote Bar. That to me was the perfect day. As it turned out it sounded pretty good to Martin and Meghan and Buck and Lindsay as well. There’s nothing I like more then spending a beautiful sunny day in San Diego with my wife and close friends. In particular when there’s no agenda, no pressure and no work the next day. It’s my perfect day!

The day actually worked out perfectly, we just kind of enjoyed the day and early evening, ending up at Mr. Peabody’s and then the Coyote. We listened to some live music for a while and enjoyed sitting on the Patio as the weather was really nice. Unfortunately Lindsay was at her parents most of the day so we decided to cab back to Phia and my place to meet up with her and cap the night with some wild Wii action. It was a really fun birthday. So I’ve pretty much posted nothing since prior to my birthday which was at the end of August. I would mainly attribute that to fact that for my birthday Phia teamed up with my parents and got me a Wii. Its completely awesome and unfortunately I’ve been obsessed with it ever since.
